About Program

Merged Areas Digital Connects aim at equipping the youth of the merged areas with essential digital skills highly sought after in the IT industry. This initiative seeks to bridge the gap between traditional education and the modern digital economy by offering cutting-edge training in areas like graphics design, app development, and more. By focusing on real-world IT competencies, this program ensures that participants are well-prepared to succeed in the fast-evolving digital landscape. As part of this initiative, Digital Connects are being established across the Merged Districts, that will provide comprehensive facilities, from high-speed internet access to state-of-the-art computer labs. These digital connects will also serve as co-working spaces, encouraging trained youth to engage in freelancing and develop their own IT ventures. The program is designed to foster self-reliance, enabling participants to not only acquire valuable skills but also utilize these resources to pursue careers in the digital economy or launch their own start-ups.
